RMS Movie Selections
(RMS) In 2021, we launched the RMS Movie Selection series. Each month a movie from the list of movies Rama – Dr. Frederick Lenz recommended to his students was announced. Then we met on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 11 AM PST, 2 PM EST to discuss the selected movie.
Our lineup in 2021 was as follows:
- March – Beyond Rangoon
- April – Conan the Barbarian
- May – The Last Wave
- June – Joe vs. The Volcano
- July – The Golden Child
- August – The Big Blue
- September – Thunderheart
- October – Terminator
- November – The Ninth Configuration
- December – Michael
For 2022, we will start with Toy Story in January and discuss Contact in February and Hunt for Red October in March. More movies will be announced as the year progresses. We are even adding Watch Parties on select months.
